Wesley Wayne Gray, 45, died after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer on September 15, 2016 at his home in Western Hanover. He was the husband of Tammy Chiles Gray. Born, December 30, 1970 in Richmond, Virginia. He was the son of L. Wayne and Audrey Brannan Gray. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1988 and from Full Sail University in 1996 as the Salutatorian. He was employed by Kings Dominion and worked as the park's Sound Engineer. Wesley Wayne Gray, 45, died after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Cancer on September 15, 2016 at his home in Western Hanover. He was the husband of Tammy Chiles Gray. Born, December 30, 1970 in Richmond, Virginia. He was the son of L. Wayne and Audrey Brannan Gray. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1988 and from Full Sail University in 1996 as the Salutatorian. He was employed by Kings Dominion and worked as the park's Sound Engineer. He was a member of Independence Christian Church. He enjoyed playing drums, fishing, riding his motorcycle, target shooting and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and friendly personality. He is survived by his mother; Audrey Gray, wife; Tammy Gray, son; Dylan Gray, step-daughter; Savannah Hutchinson, sister; Deborah Bailey, her husband Mike and their children Kody and Seth Bailey. He was preceded in death by his father; L. Wayne Gray. The viewing will be held on September 17, 2016 from 5-8pm at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA. The funeral service will be held on September 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at Independence Christian Church, 14023 Independence Rd, Ashland, VA 23005.
